Incredible concept and execution. This man’s work is amazing.
I really enjoy following wood&faulk: a blog about one man’s desire and ability create with his hands what he perceives to be beautiful, functional and aesthetically pristine. I would defend his ingenuity, because I really enjoy his building and crafting process, as well as the way he documents it.
One of his older posts includes a project in which he takes pieces of maple and walnut to build a salt cellar. I loved his design and knew my wife didn’t have anything to hold her salt except for a ceramic bowl. I headed over to Brown&Green ( Avondale) nearby our place, and talked to Justin about this particular project. He had some scrap walnut left over from making cutting boards, so he actually lathed the salt bowl, routed the pepper edge and then glued/pressed the two pieces together. He also took the liberty to create some really nice geometrical attributes to the design in general. I want to thank Wood&Faulk for the inspiration on this project.

A joy-spreading man. this guy is truly inspiring.
